Oplove - Baby Adam

I had the distinct pleasure to take the first photographs of this little guy. He was so young he still had his umbilical cord. I had never done newborn portraits before but this little guy's daddy left on deployment about a week before he was born and when his mom asked me if I would take these pictures to send to his Daddy as a part of the Oplove program - how could I say "No"? Or would I want to? No! He was such a good little baby, his eyes were open for nearly the whole session which I was quite surprised since he is so young. Oplove at Ft. Story

I had the privilege of spending a couple of hours with this great family. Dad is about to deploy to Iraq and we needed to get some fun pictures of him with his family. The boys had a blast running in and out of the water and filling up their buckets with water and sand. They were loads of fun! Their little sister was a real sweetheart! My many thanks to this wonderful family for allowing me to spend some of their precious time with them.
